Interior Redesign vs. Traditional Interior Design
Simply put, interior redesign does not require education. It is a passion. Interior redesign is an instant transformation of a space without making large purchases or hiring contractors. Redesigners have an eye for detail and possess the ability to decorate with many uncommon items through a process called repurposing. One man's junk is a redesigner's treasure! Redesigners are considered "on-the-spot" decorators. We can walk into a space and immediately identify what needs to be placed, re-arranged, changed or repurposed. An interior redesigner "shops" within a home in order to give a room a new, polished look.
Unlike interior redesign, traditional interior design requires formal education, consisting of an associates or bachelor's degree in interior design and coursework in spatial planning, architecture, ergonomics, and the list goes on. Upon receiving a degree, an interior designer must then become licensed by passing an exam. They are trained in the "out with the old, in with the new" approach, costing clients thousands of dollars.
In our current economy, hiring an interior designer is not an option for many people. Many desire a change and functionality in a room but do not know how to pull everything together, becoming overwhelmed. Some have an idea but need assistance, while others simply do not have the time. Whatever the reason, A Royal Décor is here to take the burden away and "transform your home into a castle", at an affordable price!
